plain jaymes specializes in simple, stylish and unique baby and children’s clothing and diapers, all handmade with love, by me, in the USA. The store evolved naturally once I discovered I loved designing and sewing things for my now (almost!) 2-year-old daughter–and shortly thereafter realized she didn’t need dozens upon dozens of my mommy-made items in her closet. And so, plain jaymes was created as a fun way to share my love of sewing and finding adorable fabrics you won’t find in department stores.

PICKY STICKY

Picky Sticky’s are stickers you simply stick to your clothing and take a picture.  It’s a cute and creative way to commemorate milestones, whether it’s a birthday, holiday, special event or simply watching your little one grow!  We will help you save time money and the Earth by replacing your custom made one time use T-shirt with a Picky Sticky.

The idea for Picky Sticky started with my daughter Macy, each month since Macy was born I printed a sheet of paper that stated her current age, sat it next to her and took a picture.  By the time Macy was 4 months old she kept grabbing and knocking it over, it was hard to get a good shot by the 5 month it seemed impossible.  So late one while tossing and turning the idea a decal came like a flash and Picky Sticky was born.  At the end of the year we had a fun collection of pictures that really showed how much Macy changed in just one year.

The stickers look like they are part of the t-shirt and give the feel of a custom shirt.  Decals for children commemorate “month days” and “Birthdays” and decals available for pregnant mothers honor the weekly milestones of pregnancy.

PIGTAIL PALS

Pigtail Pals is a new company for girls created by Melissa Wardy, a mom who wanted better choices when it came to the messages on her daughter’s clothing. Pigtail Pals has set out to Redefine Girly, with designs showing girls as race car drivers, astronauts, movie directors, fire fighters…all designs use hints of bold color and a play on words. For example, our Carpenter tee says “I broke a nail…” and the Movie Director tee says “Act like a lady…” Our designs and Redefine Girly message intend to show girls that being smart, daring and adventurous is being girly. So far, girls seem to love the idea they can be something other than a princess. Our shirts are a huge hit with the 2-12year old set, and our onesies are popular as baby gifts. Four of our designs were such a hit with moms that we offer them in Ladies sizes as well!

I am a mother to four kids and I have seen my fair share of maternity clothing and accessories through first hand experience. I want to offer other moms trendy, stylish, quality clothing that will leave them feeling beautiful during this special time. My goal is to share my experiences with pregnancy, breastfeeding and motherhood and let other moms know what items have worked for me (via my blog) and offer those products in my boutique along with great customer service. Affordable Baby Organics is a company specializing in affordable organic products for babies, toddlers, and children. The company was founded on the belief that consumers should be rewarded for making purchases that have a positive effect on the world. Products sold by Affordable Baby Organics are organic, naturally made, fair trade and affordable to the average family.

Affordable Baby Organics was started by a mother who was frustrated with the high price of organic clothing and baby products. She wanted to provide the healthiest atmosphere possible for her child while limiting their impact on our beautiful Earth. She felt it was unfair that she had to pay upwards of 3-4 times the price in order to do so. Although she knew there was extra expense involved in creating the organic products at times, she felt that paying $25 for a pair of baby pants was ridiculous – and she was right.

After much research, she found a way to offer all types of affordable organic baby products which had equal quality to their non-organic counterparts. She began selling products from her diaper bag. Shortly after, she began AffordableBabyOrganics.com so that she could offer the same prices to eco-friendly families all over the world.
