At Apple & Ivy we have 24 different 100% silk designs that are featured on several products including neckties, bow headbands, flower headwraps, flower headbands, flower hair clips and bow hair clips. Mix and match for the whole family! Our father and son neck tie set is our premier product. The set includes two identical silk ties, a tie for the father and a smaller version for the son. It is very rare, if not impossible, to find children’s ties made from 100% silk. We offer 4 different tie sizes for the son ranging from newborn all the way up to 13 years of age. All of our son neckties are fastened in the back with a clasp. Easy on and easy off! They’re far safer for parents that don’t want a traditional tie tightening around their child’s neck if pulled. Our tie also has a side adjustable slide, allowing the elastic to be shortened or lengthened to achieve the perfect neck fit.
Spring 2010, new to Apple & Ivy, introducing our hand-stitched quilted appliqué line! Each extra soft ring spun cotton shirt is hand made with a hand drawn extra soft flannel appliqué piece(s) which have been fray treated and then thermally bonded to the shirt using a premium lightweight fusible webbing. Each flannel appliqué is then hand-stitched using France made non-fraying, non-divisible, highly mercerized DMC colorfast lustrous pearl cotton thread. All enclosed knots are securely fastened with thread end lock. The back thread work is covered with an extra soft fusible interfacing to ensure longevity and to provide a soft barrier between the stitching and your little ones soft skin. Our high quality cotton shirts come in 9 different colors, 36 different designs and 8 different shirt sizes. We offer both short sleeve and long sleeve shirts. Check out our website for more information: ww.appleandivy.com/shirts. Plane, dog, and turtle designs coming soon! Exclusive girl inspired designs coming early summer 2010!
Both our necktie sets and our hand stitched appliqué shirts make great presents. Since the items can be given as a gift, we decided to package them accordingly. Our neckties are packaged in a high quality clear top apparel gift box that is lined with green apple premium tissue paper. Our hair items and appliqué shirts are packaged in a brown Kraft paper apparel box that is lined with green apple premium tissue paper. Both boxes are wrapped with light blue grosgrain ribbon and topped off with an “Apple & Ivy” card. We go the extra mile to ensure the presentation of our product is the quality you deserve. Since I am a mother of a son, I know how hard it is to find cute and unique things for your son(s). Our neckties and appliqué shirts have been such a hit; I wanted to be able to offer them to other mothers. I can certainly guarantee our neckties and appliqué shirts will be the hit at your child’s next play group or party.

My name is Sara, and I am the mama of two wonderful angels. Sophie Lynn is my new shop for sweet and fun girls clothing. Adorable prints, ruffles, lovely colors, fun designs. I sew all my items with love in my smoke free and pet free home.
I will be adding to my shop weekly, so stop by often for more styles and sizes! I also accomodate custom sizing as I make each order as it comes in, so I can make a dress longer, shorter, narrower, or wider. Ever have that “I like that, but . . .” moment when shopping? Problem solved! I can change a design to suit your taste, or design one for you from scratch.

My shop Noah and Lilah was born after I became pregnant with my daughter. Knowing I was having a girl, I wanted to be able to make her cute little dresses that weren’t mass-produced in some factory in China, and I wanted sophisticated and fun clothes for her. The fact that I can now make my son pants in any “theme” he’s currently enjoying (like airplanes) is a bonus!
Every piece is handmade by me in my home studio. I also love custom orders. Want a dress style in a different fabric? Let me know! Curious if I can make something you don’t see listed, such as a tie for your little guy? No problem! I love doing what I can to make my customers thrilled with their purchase. I hope you love shopping with Noah and Lilah!

New Children’s Shoes.Com, has a delightful mix of quality American & European children’s shoes, infant size 0 thru adult size 9, wide & narrow widths available too!. The Brands We Carry Are Babybotte, Beeko, Jumping Jacks, Keen, Kenneth Cole Reaction Kids, Merrell, Naturino, Petit Shoes, Ricosta, Sun San Salt Water Sandals, Tsukihoshi, TTY and Umi. New Children’s Shoes, is owned and operated by a mom who knows all about children’s shoes. My children, two boys, 5 and nearly 2 are my test market for all the brands I carry. My 5 year olds new favorite sneakers are the Jumping Jacks Morphis. He has them in the black and red. He calls them his super fast racing sneakers. He is right. They are a machine washable, super lightweight, flexible sneaker, perfect for running very fast.
I, as an owner of a children’s shoe store, really love kids shoes. I worked as a teenager and a young adult at Thom McAn shoes. That is were my initial experience came from. When I became a mom, my children became my experience and inspiration. I was obsessed with fit. My concern was their comfort. When I could not find what I was looking for locally, I reluctantly went online to buy my sons shoes. Many moms are reluctant to purchase their children’s shoes online because of fit. I understand. That is why I make it easy. We have a children’s shoe conversion chart that offers age ranges with correlating sizes. We also have a link to Brannock scale, which is the shoe industry recommended scale for measuring feet. I purchased a Brannock scale online for my sons feet. You can purchase your own children’s Brannockscale online too. It helps with the ease of buying children’s shoes online or you may call New Children’s Shoes.com during business hours 10:30 am – 5:30 pm EST. 860-678-7087 or email us at newchildrensshoes@yahoo.com any time and we will be more than willing to help you with fit.
Parents are very concerned about fit, cost and how long their child will wear high quality well-crafted shoes that cost more than the ones at the discount retailer for $10. The number one question we are asked all the time is, “How long will my child wear these shoes?” I respond, “I don’t know”, that is the truth, I don’t know. The fit and how long your child will wear a pair of shoes, depends on your child’s growth pattern. There are industry averages but parents can answer that question for themselves. If you notice that your child’s clothing is getting smaller, get there foot measured. We recommend 3 months minimum. If you have a baby that is wearing shoes, once a month. They grow so rapidly in the first 6 months of life and as they get older, every 3 months to 6 months. There are children that will plateau for 6 months to a year. Then all of a sudden, they are two sizes bigger. In my experience in children’s shoe retailing, parents are sometimes not aware that their child went up two shoe sizes. My best advice is to measure frequently. We recommend that the best rule of thumb is your thumb. Your child’s big toe should be a thumb tip away from the end of the shoe for proper for growth. When they get to the end, it is time for a new pair.

PETIT COUTURE

Petit Couture is a premium children’s apparel brand that combines fashion with social-mindedness. Having encountered a significant lack of fashionable, socially-minded children’s apparel for her own kids, Rebecca Kaykas-Wolff, founder of Petit Couture, decided to do something about it. Petit Couture uses sophisticated designs, embellishments and colors that mama and tot both love and all Signature Basics layette and playwear separates and sets are sourced and manufactured in the USA.
Petit Couture’s design style came about primarily due to the lack of elegant and whimsical layette and basics options in more sophisticated color choices and embellishments. All of our layette basics are in black and white interlock cotton, with additional color combinations out this Spring. Our burnout and thermal Ts are a cotton blend with distressed fabric treatments. Our signature owl creates the main visual interest on each garment with other signature details like our grosgrain ribbon (black with white detailing) and rhinestone embellishments (white crystal and black crystal). Our end desire is that our garments balance the elegance and beauty of an item you may see in a letterpress card shop with the fun urban-influence of rock n’ roll styling.
