I’ve always been kind of the ‘queen of doing things fast and efficiently’ and with three kids and lunchboxes to make every day, I was SO tired of struggling with mismatched containers and wasteful baggies – trying to fit them into 3 different size lunch coolers. Usually there wasn’t room for everything, and then I’d have to make changes in the food choices or containers. What a frustrating waste of time every day! HAITI RELIEF

I am sure that many of you have been following the horrific events that have unfolded in Haiti. The news of the deadly earthquake deeply saddened both Sharon & I, but the relief efforts that have since followed have been truly amazing! Last summer, I led a mission trip to an orphanage in Haiti called the Hands and Feet Project.  The children there were precious! Not only did this orphanage care for their own, but had developed food programs to help their entire community. Raising funds for those less fortunate in Haiti has been near and dear to my heart, even prior to this catastrophe.  Now, the need is greater than ever. Hands and Feet is one of the few local organizations leading the relief effort and getting supplies to those most in need.  Please visit their site for updates at www.handsandfeetproject.org
