The mom-created It’s Hip Hop, Baby! dvd series and music cd use music, language, sound, and rhythm to not only entertain children, ages 2 to 6, but to teach the alphabet, numbers, animals and more. After testing out It’s Hip Hop, Baby!’s Fruit cd and All Your Child’s Favorites dvd, I was more than impressed, and so was my one year old! I thought he may be too young to appreciate the dvd and cd, but, boy was I wrong! I believe music is a part of us all, no matter what age or language we speak. When I first popped in the cd, he started clapping, laughing and dancing right away. Watching the dvd was also enjoyable for him as he really focused on the kids dancing and singing on the screen. I look forward to him getting older and doing the moves himself. The hip hop style and catchy melodies make it difficult not to get up and dance! My daughter would totally love these videos. I can see her bouncing to the catchy songs!! She just started “bouncing” and “dancing” and I would love to really get her to do it more often. I think these videos would be great!

Genius idea! My children LOVE music and this is an awesome way to teach. How many songs do we remember from way back when? Kids are sponges and music is a surefire way to teach! Very cool!

I’ve got three crazy dancers on my hands! Thomas is 6, Michael is 2.5 and Joshua is 15 months. I LOVE watching them all dance together, it’s so cute

I think the Hip Hop,Baby is awesome.. I am a grndmother who watches her 2 grandchildren (6months & 22 months) and also 2 other baby's for friends.. we dance and play music all the time, also with barney. I think they would luv it. I heard about this from Elizabeth Sprague on twitter. Have a great day.
