Very Happy Chair is a blog following the eclectic whims of artist, illustrator, and Craft Mutt, Leona Jaeger. Follow along with Leona’s Before & After projects where you can witness the transformation of an estate sale cast-off into a one-of-a-kind treasure. Topics include various art projects, crafts, & design trends as well as some updates on indie craft fairs in the So Cal area. (And probably the occasional off-topic item that is bound to happen.)

Very Happy Chair Etsy shop contains a selection of handmade jewelry, accessories, and the occasional piece of furniture and home decor. Leona takes forgotten and cast off furniture and home wares and transforms them into unique, unforgettable, functional art. VHC hopes soon to include original surface designs for textiles, too. Keep an eye open for them in the upcoming weeks! If you covet one of a kind items, you will be sure to find them here as no two items are ever the same, and all are made–or REmade–by Leona herself.

WALLSTORY MURALS

Wallstory Murals is an online Do it yourself children’s mural store with fun and easy DIY mural designs you can paint yourself.

I believe everyone has an element of natural creativity in them and with these Paint by Number mural designs you can ‘unleash’ that creativity and paint your child a mural that will not only thrill your child but you’ll get to bask in the admiration of your friends and family (Admit it we all like to show off a bit now an then). It really is child’s play to paint these murals. If you can color in a coloring book then you can paint one of my murals. The kits come with the pattern, transfer paper, a color guide and instructions.

We’re all tightening our belts at the moment, so every saving we can make counts for a lot. By decorating or revamping your child’s room yourself you can make a huge difference without breaking the bank. If the design or theme that you’re looking for isn’t in my selection, then chat to me about a custom design. I love designing it’s such fun! So email me and lets chat (don’t worry, there’s absolutely no obligation).

So come see what you could do now at www.wallstory-murals.com and don’t forget to sign up on my Children’s DIY decor blog www.wallstory.wordpress.com and receive new ideas and inspiration for decorating your child’s room.
